Fellowship and Service
Our church family combines faith and worship with many activities which afford us both social and community interaction. Our members are involved in supporting a local soup kitchen, projects with Habitat for Humanity, and
food, clothing and holiday gift collections for local social
service agencies.
The Silver Foxes
-- We are a group of retired gentlemen, sometimes
referred to as "Bald Eagles." We meet at the church
on the 1st Monday of each month at 9:00 A.M. Along with a good
supply of coffee and bagels, there is much discussion, leading
to solution of all the world's problems. New members are most
welcome.
We serve our church and the people
of our communities by providing volunteer services. Some of the
jobs we have undertaken were seeding of the church lawn, planting
shrubbery on the church grounds, and erecting and dismantling
our Christmas nativity scene.
The Men of Faith organize our annual breakfasts, dinners and other family events. Also, we are responsible for involving our church members in assisting with repairs to homes in our local communities.
The Men of Faith enjoy fellowship, breakfast gatherings, golf,
baseball and football. We give church and community assistance.
We invite you to make a difference in our congregation and community. Together we can help many. Bring your talents or time to make this possible.
The Red, Hot and Gold Corner is a Social Group for our age 50+ Members. Activities include dinner and theater outings.
Other Activities -- Our Family of Faith enjoys many social events, such as our annual picnic, sports and theater outings, potluck dinners; and our "Fastnacht
Pancake Dinner."
