Birth Announcement -- Congratulations and God's Blessings to Robbie and Debbie Reimann upon the birth of their daughter, Reese Kyleigh, on January 22nd. She was 8 lbs. 10 oz. and 21 ¼ inches long. Congratulations also to proud grandparents, Rob and Carol Reimann!
Help is Needed to cross stitch the Sunday School pin holders for students who completed their first year of Sunday School. If you are interested in sewing, please contact Jodi Devchand.
Souper Bowl 2008 -
A "Souper" thank you to everyone who helped make this another successful Souper Bowl of Caring Collection. Thank you also to Marlene Boon and the youth who participated in the services. We collected $252 for SHIP. I delivered 169 cans of soup and 30 other canned goods to the Hillsborough Food Pantry.
The Wellness Community Cancer Support, Education and Hope
Shannon and Brian Bumgarner are competing in the Big Sur International Marathon in Monterey, California in April. They are raising money for the Bedminster chapter of The Wellness Community, which is an international support organization, where people with cancer and their loved ones can find hope, support and the tools to deal with the emotional challenges of their diagnosis and gain a better quality of life.
They are part of the Strides for Hope team, and have each committed to raising $3000, in order to keep The Wellness Community's services free of charge for all patients, caregivers, family members and children.
All donations are 100% tax-deductible. Please see Shannon after the Worship Service on Sunday, or take a contribution form from the poster in the narthex.
