Faith, like all Lutheran churches, is a "singing congregation." Martin Luther wrote of the power of music to preach and teach the Gospel and once said that "next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise." In addition to joining the united voice of the congregation in liturgy and hymns, we have many opportunities for you to make music to the Glory of God.
Our choirs are a very important part of our worship life at Faith. Our Senior Choir sings anthems in a variety of styles and leads the congregation in worship. We rehearse on Thursdays 7:00 - 8:00 PM. We welcome all who love music and desire to sing to the Lord! The Handbell Choir is an intergenerational group of new and experienced ringers. We rehearse on Sundays 5:15-6:00 PM and play on occasional Sundays, Christmas Eve, and Easter.

The Youth Group at Faith Lutheran Church is open to all youth in our congregation from grades 9 - college. The "Tweens of Faith" are in grades 4 - 8, our "Teens of Faith" are in grades 9 - 12, and our high school graduates are the "Alumni of Faith."
The youth group meets once a month on a Sunday night at church for ice breakers, games, crafts, community service, snacks, Bible study, music, hanging out, and more! Some months we meet for a special event - it can be social (like ice skating, lock ins, or apple picking), fund raising (car washes, bake sales) or community service (shopping at Christmastime, creating casseroles for SHIP).
We are actively involved in events with the NJ Synod of the ELCA and attend annual retreats. Information about Synod youth events can be found on the Youth Ministry page of the synod website: http://www.njsynod.org
We also travel to Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center for their retreats. Information about Cross Roads events (retreats and summer camps), along with forms are available on their website: http://crossroadsretreat.com/
